About us

Port Macquarie Occupational Therapy was established in 2018 by our Principal Occupational Therapist Emma Power who has over fifteen years of clinical experience. We provide client centred and capacity building Occupational Therapy services across the Port Macquarie/Hastings region on the Mid North Coast of NSW.

NDIS SERVICES

Our Services include Occupational Therapy Functional Capacity Assessment and Reports, Complex Home Modification Assessments and Reports and Assistive Technology Assessments and Reports.

We pride ourselves on providing a knowledgeable, efficient and client focused service that benefits the individuality of our clients. We operate in a small efficient therapy team that allows us to book appointments and complete services without a large waitlist

COMMONWEALTH HOME SUPPORT PROGRAM (CHSP)

We are a registered CHSP provider, providing entry level Occupational Therapy services directly to the ageing population to enable client to remain safe and independent in their own homes.

We provide Home Modification Assessments and referrals as well as Good, Equipment and Assistive Technology (GEAT) assessment and applications through GEAT2Go.

CHSP Referrals can be received from your assessor through the My Aged Care Portal OR if you have your CHSP Occupational Therapy Referral code, you can complete our INTAKE FORM using the link below.

SUPPORT AT HOME

We partner with Support at Home providers to deliver Occupational Therapy services to older adults across the Mid North Coast.

We provide Home Modification Assessments as well as Assistive Technology assessments and recommendations.

STEPPING ON (FALLS PREVENTION PROGRAM)

We are trained facilitators of the Stepping On Program, a 7-week evidence-based workshop designed to help older adults reduce their risk of falling and maintain independence.

The program is run by Occupational Therapists in collaboration with expert speakers including Physiotherapists, Dieticians, Vision Specialists and more
